Ferrocarril de Sóller, known as the Tren de Sóller, has run a narrow-gauge wooden train from Palma over the Serra de Tramuntana to Sóller since 1912, paired with a vintage electric tram (since 1913) that trundles down through orange groves to the beach at Port de Sóller. The hour-long rail journey climbs through thirteen tunnels with a viewpoint stop along the way, and remains one of Mallorca's most iconic excursions.
