Where mixology is a shared pleasure, not a luxury
Behind a wonky, blood-red door on Carrer d'Anníbal — no sign beyond a small STFU plaque — hides one of Palma's most talked-about cocktail bars. The Library STFU seats just sixteen guests in a book-lined, academic-themed room in the heart of Santa Catalina, where the lighting is low and the bartenders introduce themselves as storytellers rather than mixologists. There is no fixed menu: tell the team what you like and they'll build something original around your palate, often finished with a small edible bite on the side. The bar is vegan-friendly and works hard to minimise waste, and the philosophy is refreshingly unpretentious — the founders believe great cocktails should be a shared pleasure, not a luxury for the few. Cocktail classes and private events are available on request.
