I Festival de la Cerveza Artesanal, el Jamón y la Chacina

Plaza Virgen de la Peña, Mijas Pueblo·18:00

Mijas Pueblo launches its first Festival de la Cerveza Artesanal, el Jamón y la Chacina — three evenings, 17 to 19 July 2026, when the Plaza Virgen de la Peña turns into an open-air food and beer courtyard in the heart of the whitewashed village. Around twenty stands run by local businesses pour artisan craft beers and carve Iberian ham and traditional chacina, opening each day from 18:00. Every night closes with live music and flamenco in the square: Ziryab on Friday 17, Miranda on Saturday 18 and Francis León on Sunday 19. As a finale, on Sunday 19 a giant screen broadcasts the FIFA World Cup final — beer in hand, ham on the board and the match under the stars. Organised by the Ayuntamiento de Mijas with the local traders' association ACIM. Entry: free until capacity is reached.
