Cult organic garage winery of indigenous Mallorcan grapes near Felanitx

4 Kilos Vinícola is a cult, low-intervention winery outside Felanitx, founded in 2006 by Francesc Grimalt — co-founder of Ánima Negra — and Sergio Caballero, a musician and co-founder of the Sónar festival; its name nods to the four million pesetas of the founders' initial stake. It farms organically and works the island's indigenous grapes, chiefly the Callet behind its flagship red, with almost all of its wines certified organic. Tastings are deliberately informal — poured straight from the barrel in a converted sheep barn among the vines — and arranged by email.
