Málaga's free contemporary art centre in a converted 1930s wholesale market

The Centro de Arte Contemporáneo de Málaga (CAC Málaga) is the city's dedicated contemporary art centre, housed in the old wholesale market — a rationalist 1930s building on the banks of the Guadalmedina river. Admission is free. It showcases work by international and emerging Spanish artists across a permanent collection and a lively programme of temporary exhibitions, with a long-standing focus on art from the second half of the 20th century to the present day.
