Teatre Principal de Palma

The Teatre Principal de Palma is the island's premier performing arts venue, with roots stretching back to a 17th-century playhouse and a present-day building that reopened in 2007 following a major restoration. Run by the Consell de Mallorca's foundation, it programmes opera, theatre, dance, music and family shows across its Sala Gran and smaller spaces, and hosts Mallorca's long-running annual opera season.
