Teatre Principal de Palma

The Teatre Principal de Palma is the island's leading performing-arts venue, with roots going back to a 17th-century playhouse and a present-day building that reopened in 2007 after a major restoration. Run by the Consell de Mallorca's foundation, it programmes opera, theatre, dance, music and family shows across its Sala Gran and smaller spaces, and hosts Mallorca's long-running annual opera season.
