Mid-June is one of the island's sweetest moments with kids: the sea is warm, the crowds are not yet at peak, and a handful of time-sensitive things are still running that won't be here in July. This shortlist mixes the unmissable (an exhibition in its final two weeks) with the permanent and the practical — a market, a water park, a creative workshop — so there is something for every age and weather. Superhéroes Marinos at Palma Aquarium closes June 30 and is the urgency pick of the week. Children collect a marine passport at the entrance and hunt the tanks for species with superpowers — real ones, not invented. The cards they gather along the route are illustrated and worth keeping. Sineu on Wednesday is a non-negotiable Mallorcan experience. The market takes over the whole historic centre from eight in the morning: live chickens and rabbits alongside produce, churros and cheap flowers, with a playground right beside the main square for when attention spans run short. It is free, authentically local and over by lunchtime. Aqualand El Arenal needs little explanation at this point in June. The island's largest water park is easy to reach from Palma and runs all day — a full day out on the slides that the whole age range can share without compromise. CaixaForum Palma offers hands-on family workshops running through the summer, including the current "¿Comemos con los ojos?" sensory session and a learning space tied to the Colours of the World exhibition. Entry to the workshops is €4; the building itself is free.
