Parc Natural de s'Albufera de Mallorca
Flat, pushchair-friendly paths through the Balearics' biggest wetland, with bird hides and 30–45 minute loops. Free entry with a permit from reception.
Hiking with children in Mallorca doesn't have to mean a 1,000-metre slog. The island is full of short, flat or gently graded walks with a real payoff at the end — a reservoir ringed by mountains, a wetland alive with birds, a castle with a café in the ruins, even a boat ride to a wild offshore island. These seven are picked for that: short enough to finish, safe underfoot, and with something — a swim, a spring, a snack, a view — to keep small legs going. Distances are given so you can match the walk to your crew.
Flat, pushchair-friendly paths through the Balearics' biggest wetland, with bird hides and 30–45 minute loops. Free entry with a permit from reception.
A wide gravel track up to a tiny 1805 hermitage over the Bay of Alcúdia — fine for kids from about five, with a spring and ruined houses along the way.
The old cobbled 'postman's path' through the woods from Esporles to terraced Banyalbufar. Walk one way, ride the bus back, finish with ice cream.
A bit more climb, but kids love the rock-cut steps and the castle ruins — and the summit refuge serves cake and cold drinks as the reward.
A boat ride to a 'dragon island' plus the flat Na Miranda loop or the short lighthouse walk — adventure without the distance. Bring everything; no shops.

The mountain monastery has gentle marked paths (the Camí dels Misteris up to the Christ statue), a botanical garden and big picnic space — an easy half-day base.
End of list.
